DTI's RF Solutions Group is developing enhanced communications technology for use by
Homeland Defense/Security and Public Safety in the states of New York and New Jersey.

Initial tests resulted in double the usable range of existing VHF portable radios in an urban environment.

Approach to SDR
The 2 MHz to 2 GHz antenna is the RF component of an integrated system of systems which utilizes DTI’s
High Performance Computer System (HPCS) as a platform for a Software Defined Radio (SDR). This
system of systems approach is the next generation RF communications solution.
